Gabriela Oh (formerly Ochoa) was raised in Las Vegas, NV. She studied visual arts at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts and International Studies. In 2007, her love for art history brought her to the University of Kent, Canterbury in the UK. There she received a BA in the History and Philosophy of Art and a MA in Aesthetics and the Philosophy of Art. In 2011, she returned to the United States and began forming her own artistic practice. Her work has a digital focus and explores a range of themes including obsession, identity, social media as venue, and self-presentation. She currently lives in Corvallis, Oregon and works in graphic design and marketing.
